Thanksgiving Throwdown

Something is to be said of Thanksgiving Throwdowns performances, organization, and quality. That something, is excellent. Punks in Drublic debuted together on stage, and I was taken back to high school! Their set of punk rock covers were not only nostalgic for many, but also meshed very well with FTJs sound, and gave the whole night a lighter feel than our usual metal shows. We still had the harder rock with performances by Helldorado and headliners Moretta, but the two genes were transitioned very nicely with the Banish Boys, or rather, Banish the Echo.

A big shout out to Cameron Moore, FTJs frontman, for his extensive work putting the entire show together- complete with a pre funk show the night prior, as well as an after show to top it all off! The pre funk show included two amazing out of town bands- Unconfined and Volcanoes On the Sun, as well as some acoustic performances. The after show was equally impressive with Northfork and 37 street signs taking the stage. So hats of to Camo!

I’m happy to say that I had the privilege of recording another video interview, which I will bring to you next week, this time with the editor of Bella Entertainment by my side! 🙂 Sadly, that’s a wrap for this week Lovey’s- but I’ll be back next week, and I’ll also be back with Spungo International for our Christmas show: Spungmare Before Christmas with Jenstar and Angi Terry on the 23rd, 11am- 2pm, and you WON’T want to miss it!
